Introduction
Mohit Kumawat was born in April 1994 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. During his school years, he was an average student with a strong interest in mathematics. He later completed his M.Sc. in Mathematics and developed a belief that the right teaching approach can help every child think clearly and confidently. He grew up with simple values and wanted to do something that made a real difference in the lives of children.
Lakshya Academy is a trusted coaching institute for Sainik School, Military School, and RIMC Exam preparation, and Mohit Kumawat is the Founder of Lakshya Academy. He currently runs centres in Jaipur, Patna and Lucknow, known for disciplined teaching and strong results.
How did Mohit Sir start Lakshya Academy?
The idea of Lakshya Academy started from a life-changing moment when Mohit Sir once saw a sincere student fail an exam because that child did not receive proper guidance. The child worked so hard, but had no one to support him in the right direction. This incident touched Mohit Sir deeply. It made him realise that good coaching can change a child’s future. This thought later became the foundation of Lakshya Academy.
In 2018, Mohit Sir decided to start Lakshya Academy with a small batch. This slowly turned into a multi-city coaching brand. His simple thought was that every child deserves the right support. He created a place where students learn with clarity, discipline and confidence.
Teaching Experience
Mohit Kumawat started teaching in 2011. He taught in different coaching centres, extra classes in school and also gave personal coaching to weak students. These years taught him how students think and how their confidence changes when a teacher explains things in a simple way.
Achievements
Along with teaching, Mohit Kumawat also prepared for competitive exams. He cleared the CPO SI exam in 2015, and then He cleared the SSC CGL in 2016. These achievements showed his own capability and hard work. Students trusted him even more because they knew he had personally walked the path of competitive exams.

More than 60 students secured 50 out of 50 marks (Maths) in Sainik School Entrance Exams (AISSEE).
