Lakshya Academy Student Review – AISSEE Exam Preparation

Understanding the AISSEE

AISSEE stands for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination. It is conducted annually by the NTA for admission to classes 6th and 9th. The exam checks your understanding, speed, logic and ability to think clearly under pressure. If students prepare properly, it is not as tough as some people say. You just need a proper direction.

Let’s break it down into parts.

For Class 6th

  • Mathematics
  • General Knowledge
  • English
  • Intelligence

Maths carries the highest weightage, and honestly, most students struggle here, not because it is hard, but because of silly mistakes. Intelligence is usually an easy mark if you practice daily.

For class 9th

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
  • Social Science (History, Civics, Geography)
  • Intelligence

Class 9th exam seems tougher, but good NCERT understanding is enough for most of the syllabus.

  • English: 25 questions, 50 marks
  • Science: 25 questions, 50 marks
  • Social Science: 25 questions, 50 marks

Final Tips for Students:

Focus more on Maths and Intelligence, as they are the subjects that give the maximum marks.

Keep practising previous year papers.

Do not skip revision. Most mistakes happen because of overconfidence.

Stay healthy. Long study hours with no sleep will not help you.

Don’t fear the exam. Many students clear it every year with smart preparation.
