Inviting Online Application for AISSEE 2026
The Sainik School Society (SSS) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE-2026) for admission to Class VI and Class IX in Sainik Schools/New Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2026-27.
The AISSEE is a national-level entrance exam that helps young students gain admission into Sainik Schools – premier institutions established to prepare students for a career in the defence forces and to instil discipline, leadership, and patriotism in them.
The schedule of All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE-2026) is as follows:
- Online Submission of Application Form: 10th October, 2025 to 30th October, 2025 (Upto 5.00 PM)
- Exam Fee: General/OBC (NCL)/Defence/Ex-servicemen - Rs. 850.00 INR, SC/ST - Rs. 700.00 INR
- Last Date of Successful Transaction of Fee: 31.10.2025 (Upto 11:50 PM)
- Correction in Particulars: 02.11.2025 to 04.11.2025
- Pattern of Test: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Mode of Test: Pen & Paper (OMR Sheet Based)
- Duration of Test & Medium: Exam for admission to Class VI: 150 Minutes - In 13 Mediums, Exam for admission to Class IX: 180 Minutes - In English Medium
- Date of Test: In the month of January 2026
- Downloading of Admit Cards from NTA Website: To be announced later on the website
- Website URLs: https://exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/ and https://nta.ac.in
- Declaration of Results: Within 04 to 06 weeks after the exam
The Scheme/duration/medium/syllabus of examination, eligibility criteria, list of Sainik Schools/New Sainik Schools and their tentative intake, reservation of seats, exam cities, passing requirements, important dates etc., relating to the exam are contained in the Information Bulletin hosted on https://nta.ac.in/ and/or https://exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/.
The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting the NTA website for latest updates.
Candidates are requested to fill the application form carefully and may read the detailed Information Bulletin for AISSEE 2026 before applying. Candidate should apply online only at https://exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/ between 10.10.2025 and 30.10.2025. The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking/UPI.
